Researchers of a Swedish study on the effects of maternal myasthenia gravis (MG) on pregnancy and birth outcomes found no increased risk of pregnancy complications in women with MG. However, they had lower spontaneous labor rates and higher labor induction and cesarean section rates, but they had no increased risk of health issues. Overall, the study indicates safe pregnancy outcomes for women with MG and their infants.
