Steve Mason is an advanced practice provider with over 30 years of experience in cardiology. He was an integral part of establishing the Cardiac Molecular Imaging PET/CT program at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. Steve has implemented protocols, conducted physician and technologist training, and developed a rapid access program for cardiac patients seen in the emergency department; all of which has helped grow the program to over 5,000 patients per year. Steve has a great passion for research.

He is a published author and has contributed to over 30 papers and abstracts. Steve continues to lead the development of cardiac PET/CT programs across the Intermountain Healthcare system making it one of the largest programs in the nation.
