Ken Mitchell is a certified Physician Associate with over 28 years of clinical experience in male health and sexual dysfunction. Ken actively promotes Men’s health and participates in community outreach programs educating men about sexual and overall health. Ken has, and continues, to publish and present nationally and internationally on Men’s Health issues impacting morbidity and mortality of males around the globe. Ken is co-author of the AUA Consensus Statement on Advanced Practice Providers and continues to present and advocate for the integration and utilization of APP’s in urology practice.
Ken received his B.S. in Biology from Dana College (1988), his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from the University of Nebraska Physician Assistant Program (1995). Ken is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Urological Association of Physician Assistants (UAPA), and an associate member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. Ken has served in leadership roles as Chair of the AUA APP Membership Committee, President of the Urological Association of Physician Assistants (UAPA), Chair of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America APN/PA Affairs Committee, and board member at-large of the American Society of Men’s Health (ASMH). Ken was inducted into the Pi Alpha Physician Assistant National Honor Society in 2016 and is the 2023 recipient of the American Urological Association (AUA) APP of the Year. Ken is the Founder and President of GUYnecology® a non-profit organization dedicated to Men’s Health research, provider training, consumer education, and health promotion.
