Benito Lopez is a certified Physician Associate who practices in Endocrinology. While he is board-certified in advanced diabetes management (BC-ADM), he skillfully manages complex patient needs and assists patients with therapeutic problem-solving. He received his master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) and continued his education by receiving his Doctorate of Medical Science from the University of Lynchburg. Dr. Lopez is also an Advance Fracture Liaison Service Ambassador, where he emphasizes the importance of appropriate patient assessment, treatment initiation, medical follow-up, and care coordination for bone disorders.
He is a faculty preceptor for UTRGV and the South University Austin PA programs. He is currently involved with multiple state and national organizations to help advocate for the PA profession and stay up-to-date with patient care. He strives to improve his patient’s quality of care and to bring his patients the best, most innovative, most up-to-date, and state-of-the-art care.
