Researchers reviewed various antibody detection methods in myasthenia gravis (MG), discussing their sensitivity and specificity. Given the heterogeneity of MG in pathophysiology and antibody types, alongside the advancement in antibody tests, with greater identification of new antigens, serological tests are essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Researchers concluded that personalized treatment approaches, based on accurate antibody status subgrouping, are recommended for managing MG.
