Michael Asbach, DMSc, PA-C, Psych-CAQ, is the associate director of interventional psychiatry at DENT Neurologic Institute. He holds clinical faculty appointments at several universities. Dr. Asbach received his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Daemen University and his Doctorate of Medical Science (DMSc) with a concentration in healthcare leadership.

Michael is a nationally recognized educator who has participated in several national meetings and congresses. His areas of clinical interest include treatment-resistant depression, bipolar disorder, and emerging treatments for mental illness. Outside of clinical education, Michael is a passionate advocate for PAs and currently serves as the AAPA medical liaison to the American Psychiatric Association.

Michael is the co-founder of White Coats of the Round Table, a medical education company focused on healthcare professional career development. The free podcast and newsletter surpassed 100,000 downloads in 2023, empowering clinicians to take charge of their careers. White Coats of the Round Table provides resources and educational support for healthcare professionals who are interested in career advancement, non-clinical careers, and burnout prevention.
