Systemic inflammation could link psoriasis and cardio-metabolic diseases, and diet may be able to be utilized as a therapeutic adjunct in the management of psoriasis. The Diet and Psoriasis Project (DIEPP) evaluated the Mediterranean diet (MedD) and time-restricted eating (TRE) and whether either or both can “exert protective effects” on psoriasis. Outcomes of the project could provide a framework for future diet-centered recommendations.
